<p>In the book across the misty mountains was a very difficult task, I think That Besides the enemies and height Should be something more in the misty mountains, snow, snow MC but not common but a special snow That Gradually you you were sinking even block or a block and a half or so, This would slow down much the players and if the weights of armor They Were Implemented the lightest armor would sink less in snow and heavy would make you sink more and more fast, This would be solved mountain boots be forged with leather shoes and a new item: spikes. These boots reduce the effect of snow and not let you slip on the ice and would have the effect of thorns inherent.Also that being in the higher areas will suffer damage as in the Forodwaith.
</p><p>In addition under this snow was another that would be much harder to dig at least 10-15 seconds to remove with a shovel iron, this compact snow snow donominaria while the former loose snow would be called. I am sorry for my bad english. constructive feedback is accepted and thanks for reading. =D

<p>Hm, there could be *occasional* blocks of "deep snow" that behaves a bit like spider webs in that it slows down the player or his ride.
</p><p>Also: in great height (considering the chilly, windy weather up there) once could take frost damage unless properly dressed (warg fur armour should do).

<p>I think that it would be a good idea to add wind so that you can be blown off a mountain, the effect would increase if you are high up, have few blocks near you or you are in between two walls, it would be removed when you have no path leading to the surface or you are in a cave with a dead end. the weaker it is, the quieter it is and the less effect it has on you.

If it's too tough to shovel it off within seconds I doubt you'd sink into it very much.

Have you tried to shovel 4 foot piles of snow? It takes more than a few seconds.

<p>This is minecraft. Mining meter takes one second with a pick axe. Digging dirt takes about two seconds with your hand, go figure. Not to mention that if you take into account 15 minute days then that is a few minutes.

Do you get frost damage in the Misties? You should get frost damage in the misties.
