Unforunately due to my current technological circumstances I will be unable to use screenshots to exhibit the points I'm about to make. you'll just have to take it at face value.
A long time ago now I mentioned various discrepencies within the mod's animal spawning in Harad (the suggestion/feedback was named something like Invisible Underground Moountain Cave crocodiles?) but this was before I encountered the terrifying scope of the Mangrove biome!
overall Mevans did a great job with the mangrove swamp (although it would be nice if there were more trees) but one immeadiately notice two things when visiting the biome:
1. that savanah animals look a little out of place in a humid, turgid swamp.
2. that there aren't any midges or mosquitoes
3. that even mangrove trees (which have submerged roots) cannot actually reside 30 blocks underwater
these problems could be solved in a relativly simple manner. Remove/decrease spawn rates of things like lions or gemsbock in biomes that would not really support them, do something to stop the trees spawning too far underwater (I'm not a coder I don't know how) and possibly (at least until other mobs are added) have only midges and crocodiles in the swamps
As always this suggestion was inteneded to help and not to offend. If I've made anyone upset or made some collosal mistake I'm very sorry and will rectify the situation as soon as possible
