Zebras haven't been tamed enough to be reliably ridden in real life.
Note: this is an extremely hopeful suggestion that may not have a chance, but I am going for it anyway (like the kebabs).
Flamingo riders: I have heard way too much flamingo rider hype to not put this in so... these would be exactly what they seem pike wielding flamingo riding tauredain warriors. These would be the ridiculous way to counter the zebras (a bird holding a person?)
Or
Croc riders: super epic. Need. Etc. Basically it would require a special saddle that prevents the head from turning enough to bite the rider. To put on the saddle one would trap the crocodile (net? Or just prevent its escape) after that feeding it fish and chicken would decrease its hostility towards you (it would remain hostile to other NPCs and players). This would then be similar to warg riders, a hostile animal that can be ridden. (If owned by an NPC it would not attack that faction (namely tauredain). The NPC would wield a sword, bludgeon, or pike.
Croc catchers: armed with nets armor (light if possible, such as scout) and a coin these will sell crocodile saddles, as well as saddled crocs
Please.kudos for the croc riders (we all want to be able to ride those things... well at least the good guys do.)
Lamas (idea from Argali1) Llamas would be a domesticated mob found in Tauredain villages. They'd have one heart more than a horse, a speed a bit under a horse and very high endurance. There would be matching Tauredain llama armor. Llamas can be sheared to create llama wool, which can be used for a variety of things. Alpacas would be a smaller, fluffier version of llamas that don't have the same, large ears and lack the ability to attack you like a llama does. Alpaca wool can also be made into things, and is involved in Tauredain mini-quests. Alpaca llama hybrids are essentially larger alpacas with slightly longer ears, and they take a less amount of time to tame. Llamas can be hybridized with camels to create camas, which are the size of camels and are given camel armor, but they don't have humps, and their facial structure is more like a llama's (though they have shorter ears). They can be shorn just like a llama, but have the statistics of a camel. The guanaco is the wild version of the llama, and it can also be shorn, but you can't domesticate it (so you have to sneak up on it) and it doesn't produce as much wool. It has a bit less health than a llama, but is a bit faster, and is more likely to attack. Vicunas are the wild version of alpacas, and are smaller, faster versions of alpacas. They don't produce much wool, but if you do manage to shear them (they are quite fast), their wool is the most valued by the Tauredain.
i would also propose a woolen armor for the tauredain to go with this (light armor, possibly with similar effects to the galadrim cloak)
other than this perhaps they drop a wool item, this would need to be crafted 2x2 for a block of 'tauredain wool' (or alpaca/lama) or crafted similar to a grape post for 'yarn', yarn and wool would then be used similar to string and hide in the half-troll recipes, but on a tauredain CT to make wool armor/robes. perhaps the wool could also be used for a type of lama/alpaca costume (dyed wool that looks like tauredain armor, little defense provided)
