Hey guys! Antonconandoyle and I have established a new server called "Third age: Rise of War"! This server is mainly with people of the former server of Tales of Ages. Why so many people from there? Well, long story. To keep it short, the owner broke his promises with the staff by turning the lotr server into his own ideal storyline based on a youtube minecraft series".
The server itself:
It will be a fully lore server, with custom lore if it is compatible with lore. So its not like, if it isn't mentioned in the books, it wont happen. "Eorminar the rohirrim found the lost crown of the kings of Numenor!" is not mentioned in the books, but still fun to do as a quest.
We use roleplay. And all former ToA players have a right to claim their former role. The roles you can choose must be alive between after the events of the Hobbit, and before the Lord of the Rings start, since that is the timelapse our server will be in. We do this mainly to prevent a classic "we have 6 different kings under the mountain! Durin, Thorin, Thror, all of them! They're all here" problem. Anyways, we do need builders to help us with some lore builds, and some "custom" lore builds. We will give a few instructions of how to build them :D
pvp/war: Sieges, field battles, naval battles... all included! A player can attack a waypoint, depending on its position compared to the attacker (example, Angmar cant attack Minas Tirith out of nowhere). And the rules will be made between completily fair, and realistic.
quests: Yes we make quests! And lovely ones! In the beginning we wont do that much quests, because we want to build the first weeks, so our server will be awesome, and every faction has something to be proud of, for this again, builders needed!
Communication: Most people on our server use skype, and we have a skype chat. You wont be called in that chat or anything, its pure for making the server know something, or just for fun and chat.
