<p>Is it not a violation of Copyright Law to use any media or music that you don't have the rights to without permission from the owners and without crediting them properly, while distributing it publicly? Correct me if i'm wrong, but I am pretty sure this is a law. If you have the permission of the owners of the music to distribute it publicly while crediting them properly  </p><p>If you have the permission and are able to credit them you should be able to use their music, otherwise i dont think you will be able to. </p>

<p>If you are having issues with making the pack, i would make sure you even are allowed to make it first. </p>

<p>I'm not going to distribute it, if I did I realise it would then be illegal. Also, I have credited them anyway. </p>

<p>For the first track thing, perhaps there's something like a shuffle that needs to be enabled... </p>

I seem to recall something about needing a weight tag in the json to determine how often each song should play if there are multiple songs that can play in the same biome.

<p>Ah, I saw that and it said it was optional in the readme, but that could be it. I'll test it and report back. :) </p>

At least you credited them. :) </p> </div> <p>In fact, I believe one of the big reasons for the addition of music packs was so that the film music could be used with the mod, as it would be illegal for the music to be included in the mod. </p>
