There are many different tools which can be quite useful in Middle-Earth, and these are some which I think should be added.
(Note: Thanks to Campinator for the textures)
Since diamonds are no longer in Middle-Earth, Silk-Touch enchantments are hard to come by. So for anyone trying to protect their realm with a giant wall of ice, this is rather inconvenient, since as far as I know, thats the only way to pick ice up. An ice saw however, can break both regular and packed ice, without turning it into water or destroying it. It is crafted like so:
It has 450 Durability, and is perfect for... well, cutting ice.
ScytheThis tool is used to harvest large swaths of crops in a short amount of time. Crafted like this:
It cuts all crops in a 3x3 radius when right clicked, and has 300 Durability.
(Note: there is a much better and detailed implementation of this here by Catfishperson)
There is nothing so useful as a trusty walking stick. Crafted like so,
This device increases your speed and makes you act like you're holding shift, by preventing you from falling off edges (potentially only if the drop is more than say 3 blocks?), but without the speed decrease. This nifty tool can also be used as a makeshift quarterstaff, doing 4 damage with a swing speed of 125% and a reach of 140%. It has 150 Durability, which is used up when it's used as a weapon.
Used to climb sheer cliffs (and maybe even walls, for the assassins out there), this device is crafted like so:
When you right click the side of a block which has at least 1 other block directly below it (enough room for the player model to fit in) you become stuck to the wall. You can then right click another block above you, slowly making your way up a cliff. When you right click a block to pull yourself up, there's a 10% chance you'll slip, falling 5-10 blocks before managing to catch your pick in some hidden cranny. If you switch to another inventory slot when climbing, you will fall, so no epic battles on the sides of cliffs. This tool has 200 Durability and a reach of 50%.
Thats all, thanks for reading!
