it is doable through anvil renaming, but that is expensive (we made barrels of nectar, and crates of ambrosia for an event once, it was cool, the nectar kept its name in the barrel and everything)

Of course not, you're just using common sense.
Guys, the drinks are the most important part of the mod. We do need to have Mevans spend hours coding an extensive system for them, and brands of them, which can take up as much RAM as the whole rest of the mod combined.
Why not scrap the LOTR part and just have a Drinks Mod? :P
Great idea! I think this should be expanded to Pipeweed brands too. There were more than one pipeweed brands, such as the Southern Star and Longbottom leaf.
