"'Good luck, Sam! ' he said. 'Many have received worse than this in payment for the slaying of their first orc. The cut is not poisoned, as the wounds of orc-blades too often are. It should heal well when I have tended it. Bathe it when Gimli has heated water.'"
"In 2509 Celebrían wife of Elrond was journeying to Lórien when she was waylaid in the Redhorn Pass, and her escort being scattered by the sudden assault of the Orcs, she was seized and carried off. She was pursued and rescued by Elladan and Elrohir, but not before she had suffered torment and had received a poisoned wound. She was brought back to Imladris, and though healed in body by Elrond, lost all delight in Middle-earth, and the next year went to the Havens and passed over Sea."
Hello, my friends! This suggestion focuses on the increase of Poison being used by Orcs. It was inspired by, but is not in any way based off, the "Serpents of Near Harad" suggestion.
Throughout the books, there are several references to Orcs using poisoned blades. In the interest of diversity and balance, therefore, I propose that Orcish swords be able to be poisoned. About one-third of all Orcs will spawn with such blades, and they will be craftable by placing a bottle of poison in a crafting table with the sword. This would give it a ten-second poison effect.
Additionally, to make Dol Guldur a little more unique, all of their edged weapons (not mace and hammer) should be poisonable. However, poison on all weapons should wear off after several strikes, to prevent all players from using it with no repercussions. I shall add textures for these blades once I return from school.
Thank you for reading this suggestion! As always, comments, Kudos, and constructive criticism is most welcome!
