Long and short of this post: Travelling traders such as galadrim wanderers and haradric merchants could do with a little tweaking.
These are merchants travelling far from home, and so these merchants do not have access to the supplies to simply “Restock” whenever a player exhausts their reserves. Consequently, would it not make sense for these specific traders to carry an over abundance of their trade goods? They do travel with an entourage of assistants and body guards who would no doubt lend a hand in carrying some of their merchant’s wears. Not to mention... Donkeys!!!
So three suggestions for consideration:
1. Wandering traders will not be able to restock their trades when they are exhausted. This only counts for the items they sell though. Unless you want to add the realism of there being a limited inventory space or something.
2. Wandering traders will have larger than average trade limits.
3. My favourite of the suggestions: Give the traders each a donkey/camel with saddlebags of goods. It makes for great realism and logic. I am envisioning a donkey/camel spawning in near the trader attached to them via a lead.
There you have it. Short and sweet. And hopefully easy to implement.
