Currently every player while choosing which armour to wear is just looking on four things:
-randomly generated modifiers
-(sometimes) RP aspects
This means that most of us will almost always pick armour which grants us more protection, or our faction gear, which (excluding black elven armour) differ only in raw protection stat, durability and appearance. My proposition is to increase variation in avalible gear statistics by adding 'weight' stat, or just raw walking speed modifier to existing and incoming armour types. For ex.
-gondorian armour, while being durable and protective, would slow us down, each piece diffrently (ex. Boots- 3%, helmet- 2% , chestplate- 15%, leggins- 5%)= 25 %.
-on the other hand we'd have taurethim armour, which wouldn't slow us down at all but would offer less protection and/or have less durability.
Due to fact that similiar system already exists in the mod (woodelven scout armour) it'd be cool to see this idea implemented to all armour types in the game. That way we'd probably see use for 'low tier' armour even in late game, while keeping the balance.
