I agree with the fact that they should increase the firing range, at least with some units

-elves, because they're elves (appart from wood elven scouts, because they are meant to fight in forest with a lack of visibility, and they would be overpowered with their shooting rate)
-Dalish archers, because they've got the bow with the biggest range, but also the slowest, so they're rubbish if they can't start shooting from afar.
-blackroot vale archers, because they are supposed to be really good with bows in lore

Now for the evil units
All uruks (Gundabad, Angmar, DG, Mordor, and Uruk-hai crossbowers)
All crossbowers in general
I think that's all, hope I didn't forget anything
(Ps, I Didn't put rangers in this list because of their ability to disappears, they would be to lethal against enemies npcs)

as they should be, the Rangers. They are extremely few in numbers, and they should make up for that

Rangers "extremly few in numbers"?! In the books, yes, but in the mod.. HELL NO! Being in an orcish faction and building a base in the lone-lands makes rangers of the north seem like OP cannon fodder of Arnor. There are often more than 5 of these invasions around the base that me and my friend built around a gundabad orc camp, and the walls are constantly sieged by ranger hordes.. The same thing occurs in Harondor, but with Ithilien rangers.. Once a new southron player asked me for help with clearing an invasion, and we absolutely got our butts kicked..

Really, even with their current strenght, they should be way rarer, even to the point that it's around impossible for an army of them. Or, if they remain as common, they should be nerfed to standard cannon fodder level.

Ithilien rangers are a whole different thing. Also, settling in the lands guarding by probably the most elite men in Arda should not be a safe circumstance if you are against them. If you get a bit of properly modified gear you will do more than fine with the use of pikes and bows
