ALL POSTSSnow layers (snow actually acting like snow)
<p>taking a look at the coin piles/ stacks/ blocks in the lord of the rings had me thinking in another feature existing in bedrock edition of Minecraft: snow layers. In bedrock edition, snow acts much like sand and gravel, and I think it would be a relatively simple feature to add since it's just mimicking the coin blocks. Also (if I'm not going too far) a nice thing would be if snow layers stacked on top as it continues snowing, building up as the storm continues, it's just my thought on the subject but I think something as small as this can add a lot to the immersion into the game.

<p>There is one problem with snow layers growing, which is that the snow doesn't melt away. Eventually there would be tens of blocks of snow.
</p><p>But maybe the snow could have some gravity?
Or maybe only the thin snow block (and its variants all the way to full block) would fall, while the full block (made of snowballs) would not.

<p>Originally I had thought of this as a buildup to the seasons' planned feature, suggesting how it could be made more realistic, and have it in the game earlier. But it's true that the snow would just pile up and get larger and larger, so maybe have the snow layers (the ones that built up) melt during the day(?) And maybe in a future update with seasons, have it melt during the warmer ones. </p>

Snow layers can stack. At least in later Minecraft versions.

<p>They can stack in 1.7.10 too, but the falling snow does not, only placed snow
</p>

I think a fix would be snow can only stack to a certain hight
