Hello all! I have been brought here from the "Cloaks" sugeestion farther down below.
Now, it is all very well and good that there are lots of armors and even some miscellaneous beautiful pieces of clothes (harad robes :DDDDD love it!)
This idea is a further representation of the 'Cloaks' suggestion and I think would go very well hand-in-hand. Off we go!
Now: When you go to hire some troops from a couple certain warlords and captains and lords, there will be an interesting THING flapping behind them: a cape!
Now, I know that capes used to be in the game, but are now replaced by shields, but there are still a few NPCs which do wear them!
- 1) Harnedrim Warlord
- 2) Morwaith Warlord
- 3) All 5 elven lords. (I am quite sure of it, but not 100%) Rivendell, Lindon, Woodland Realm, Lorien, Dorwinion.
- 4) Dwarven Captain(s)
- 5) Elven and dwarven traders and smiths.
- 6) Gondorian Captains
- 7) Dalish Captains
- 8) Rohirric Marshals
- 9) Ranger Captains
Please feel free to throw in anyone else who wears a cape if I'm missing someone!
You see, there are quite a few capes in this mod as is! I suggest, the player have access to them as well.
Now, for starters, I think the simplest thing to do is to make BANNERS WEARABLE. Just take your Dunlending or Hobbit banner, plop it on your chest slot, and run around with a beautiful cape flapping behind you! This would make a very cool addition I think. Imagine someone strolling into an orc camp, holding a clover shield, wearing a blue party hat, and a green/yellow cape flying behind them. THe orcs run in fear!! *orcs scream in the background*
- 2) Skins shall be wearable as well! With the new added carpets, I think this would be a VERY cool addition. That absolutely SICK obsidean warg skin I (almost D; ) got from Utumno yesterday? I can now parade around with it on my shoulders! That amazing girraffe skin? Also on my shoulders! A skinned Mevans? Just plop him on! (please don't ban me, no Mevanses were hurt in the production of this suggestion :( The animal skins/carpets (lion, lioness, girraffe, wargskins, etc) will also protect you from the Forodwaith Chill effect.
- 3) More on Capes: There are however, a couple capes NOT as banners. See the dwarven merchant capes, the elven merchant capes, and the Morwaith Warlord. I think this would be pretty simple to add in, and VERY cool (especially since the Morwaith cape looks like a skinned leapard? o_O coincidence? (*cough* mevans' cousin *cough* )
And just as a small mini+, when the haradrim poachers get added in, they will be wearing various skins of lions and girrafes, and you can also BUY capes from traders.
Hope you guys liked this suggestion! I think it would be really cool!!!
