<p>Adds an area around Moria that would have mithril generate in slightly higher rates and higher levels. In the books, Moria is described as prosperous and full of mithril, a feeling I did not get while grinding for mithril in the Misty Mountains. To offset this, and to represent the fall of Moria, Gundabad Uruks would spawn and invade the region frequently. Also, in deeper levels, Utumno mobs would spawn regardless of light levels.
</p><p>This would prevent new players from trying to rush getting lots of mithril like at Meneltarma. Also, it would not prevent high level high level players from getting this mithril, though with difficulty, So, a player would have to have good gear to take advantage of this cheaper mithril, still making it an end game item.

<p>Would probably better to have Caradhras as a region, as opposed to Moria.

<p>The Utumno mobs were just a suggestion, and the main importance is that it is an area with more mithril at the threat of more danger. The idea can be edited though.

<p>Also, even if light level doesn't play a role, a player can just use a banner, and there's the fact that they won't spawn within 24 blocks of you

<p>Yes, banner protection would work, and it would encourage "recapturing" the fallen region. Also, as mines grew larger and deeper, more and more banners would be have to used to keep the mines safe.

<p>Utumno mobs could be replaced by balrogs and/or the Watcher of the Water, etc. Their prpose would be to increase the danger of mining too deep and to provide challenge for evil players. In the books, even though orcs take over and loot Moria, they too are unable to mine more mithril because of Durin's Bane.
