people who play for eg. Rhudel can hire evil men, and when they attack Dwarves or Elves this gives them a huge damage advantage vs all hired enemy troops in PvP.

also: HOBBITBANE maybe, unless you consider them to be just a starter faction / Safespace for nice people.
Man Bane isn't a thing I suspect, because there are such a large amount of men in the mod, more than elves, dwarves, and even orcs, with more to come.
Plus, as its still up for debate, the players are to be considered men/woman, meaning the bane would have to affect players to. But the main reason I think is cause of the large amount of men...
doesn't really make any sense that argument "too many men around" because it makes it even more unfair.
so on top of having a huge population, they also get the benefit of their enemies not having "manbane".
I think MANBANE is overdue!
seriously, the real (stupid) reason that there is no manbane is that banes are a stupid idea that only applies to "monsters" and "special races", and we don't consider ourselves (humans) to be either. It's pretty racist in fact to not have "manbane".
And the "there's too many men" argument also fails because I am plowing through hordes of Orks and Trolls every damn day.
As of now, Players are not regarded as members of any race, so banes do not affect us directly, but if you want that banes also affect us, that is even more reason to give us "manbane" - otherwise unbalanced.
As with most things, it would be optimal to be configurable in the config file so server admins can pick and choose what they like most.
Actually, in regards to your last post, it is very well known that we, as a player, are currently considered a man/woman. Such is proven by almost every single faction, possible all of them, having dialogue that mentions us being a man. Sure, this may change in the future, but for now that's how it is. Also, the reason for not having a man-bane was connected to men not having a direct weakness or something. I read a discussion about it but I forget exactly how it was worded, as I believe it has been well over a year since I read it.
I do, however, agree with hobbit bane.
none of the banes affect player characters currently anyway. So "manbane" would not change that either per se. As for humans not having any weaknesses? This is total nonsense of course and make zero sense. If we had no weakness, wtf is Wormtongue wispering in the Kings ear and why does it work? Why does Boromir want the ring? etc etc etc. Man having no weaknesses is idiotic.
maybe you can explain to me what kind of "weakness" allows you do do +4 damage versus fully armored Dwarves, Elves, Orks, etc. and not to humans.
