Note
This suggestions is meant to be used along with my Quests and Headhunts! suggestion. The items listed here would be used by the 'leader NPCs' in that suggestion.
Introduction
I propose a special kind of armour set similar to Morgul Armour for each faction/group of factions. This armour would be worn by the leader NPCs of the enemy faction, which would would have a 50% drop of one piece as the only way to get it for enemy players. All sets of this armour unless otherwise specified will have the same durability values as Morgul Armour. All sword-type-weapons will have the same durability, reach, speed, and attack damage as Morgul Blades unless otherwise mentioned.
Orcish Factions
Morgul Armour, already present.
Elven Factions
Eldarin Armour. Provides 15 protection. Each piece provides +2 Protection Against Orcish Weapons. Crafted using Elven Silver on any Elven Crafting Table.
Eldarin Sword. Strikes fear in the hearts of Orcs, but not Uruks. This causes them to flee as if the wielder had -500 alignment with their faction. This will also work on hired units, and will work even when an NPC holds the blade. After seeing an Orc being attacked, nearby Orcs have a chance to overcome their fear. Crafted with Elven Silver on any Elven Crafting Table.
Elven Silver will be an alloy of Edhelvir and silver in an Elven forge.
Dwarvish Factions
Dwarven Forge Armour. Provides 15 protection. Each pieces provides +3 Fire Protection (can still get extra fire protection modifiers). Crafted using Tempered Dwarven Steel on any Dwarvish Crafting Table.
Tempered Dwarven Sword. 10% of damage ignores armour. Crafted using Tempered Dwarven Steel on any Dwarvish Crafting Table.
Tempered Dwarven Steel will be an alloy of Durnor and Dwarven Steel in a Dwarven Forge, and will be darker, and have a pattern similar to Uruk Steel.
Rohan
Rohirric Marshal Armour, already exists.
No sword.
Gondor
Citadel Guard Armour. Only found in loot, as quest rewards and from NPC leader drops.
Rangers of the North
Ranger Captain Armour. 15 Armour Points. Provides stealth effect, similar to but less powerful than Galadhrim Cloak stealth effect (the effect for players). Crafted by combining Ranger Armour and a silver ingot on a Ranger Crafting Table.
Near Harad
Nothing. Can't think of anything.
Morwaith
They already have their useless lion armour.
Half-Trolls
Are they smart enough to care?
Rhudel
Isn't golden Easterling armour fancy enough?
Isengard
No special armour.
Uruk Berserker Cleaver, already present.
