Hello, I'm currently in the works after several years, in reviving my original server "Dagor Dagorath" that my Discord has been demanding for so long for a return.
Learning from past mistakes, I know that the LOTR mod doesn't play nice with mods generally, because it was designed to be a standalone, and there's no problem with this whatsoever. I love the LOTR mod, and I look forward to everything that's provided, and I'll continue to support it's legacy in Minecraft.
That being said, I know many people will still want mods, naturally, but I've made sure that the mods (this does include requirement mods as well) do not exceed past '20' in total.
Now, the problem I'm having which I wanted to get some insight in, was putting plugins in the modpack. I'm trying to implement plugins like WorldEdit, WorldGuard for the obvious purpose of protecting lore builds and allowing staff to do good work easier, but I also need plugins for voting, earning rewards, and just things to make it more RPG immersive.
Nothing too fancy, just little pick-me-ups.
Given your options for 1.7.10 is Cauldron, KCauldron, Thermos, and Sponge (There's also NukkitX for Bedrock Edition and Waterfall (BungeeCord) for proxy connections), I wanted to know how difficult (realistic or unrealistic) it is to have a 1.7.10 LOTR server with mods and plugins installed.
Thank you for all future feedback, constructive criticism and suggestions are always welcome.
