Can evil faction invasions spawn in an evil biome?

I have built a base in the grey mountains, using three summoned invasions of my faction and a lot of banners, but I am worried if there can spawn an invasion of gundabad (which de facto owns the greys) or any other faction not liking me.

Is it possible for evil factions to spawn invasions in biome on-paper controlled by them?

Sorry for the late response. Gundabad should be the only evil faction to launch invasions in the Grey Mountains, but only in unbannered areas.

Banners can prevent invasions in the claimed area, anything outside of the protected area can spawn an invasion and can be destroyed. To see the land claimed press the F-3 key.
