Am I the only concerned by this?
When an invasion happens, it's supposed to be an attack on the territory, right? For exemple, when Mordor launches an invasion in the Gondor biome, they attack Gondor, don't they?
But, strangely, when you have 0 alignment or positive alignment with Mordor, no invasion from Mordor is going to happen in Ithilien, Gondor, Lebennin or wathever the biome affiliated to Gondor. But why? It's not because you're not an Mordor enemy they shoudn't attack Gondor, right? I can tell the same of any invasions of any factions if you're not their enemy. They prefer to kill each other only when they've got a grudge on you. Otherwise, nope! Just relax and peace, guys! What such non-sense!
You know why? Because they technicaly don't care to fight each other. When a Mordor invasion happens in Gondor or Ithilien happens, it's not about attacking Gondor but you. So they don't invade Gondor. They invade YOU! But why? You're not a territory, just a guy who'd like keep calm and play lotrMOD.
So no. Invasions aren't real invasions. They're just swarms of NPCs which decided to kill you because they're fed up of your silly shenaningans on their borders just to fill up some slay mini-quest and get alignment, money and stuff.
Does anyone remember when Mevans said he planned to add something similar to invasion but more like a grup of bounty hunter NPCs tracking you in the name of the faction you use to mess with?
If so, well... he technicaly already added it in the mod. If don't, well... that doesn't really matter since the result still the same.
If you want to know my opinion about it, they shouldn't have written in the chat everytime an invasion launches nearby:
"[Faction or subfaction name] launched an invasion nearby!"
But
"[Faction or subfaction name] are done with you!"
A last thing! They should add REAL invasions, so attacks directed at territories and factions, and not specificaly at the player; and may they don't wait you being their enemy to do it.
Not a real suggest. Just an opinion about the topic.
