Elves

Hello dear admins

I would like to ask whether in the new renewed version or even in the older version you will finally add a button to turn off the bow and sword function.

Especially with elves, it is completely unimaginable. As you made the orcs a few pixels smaller npcs gained an advantage over the elves who can easily stand or sit on a horse for 10 minutes straight and try to hit an orc with a bow who also just stands and shoots. However, with the difference that he hits and my elves die of dementia to draw a sword and kill him by hand. Don't tell me the elves were just archers. It seems to me that you have turned this advantage against other factions into a big disadvantage against other factions. Thank you for your attention and I hope to receive an answer.

This mod is great. However, I do have some things which I would like to see in it. I hope my suggestions are not too troublesome to be implemented.

1. Make Lairelosse saplings very rarely spawn if you use bonemeal on the ground in Lothlorien. The chance should be extremely small. This would make it slightly easier to farm Lairelosse tress, especially since they and their wood are very beautiful.

2. Dogs and Birds. Currently dogs have no additional feature compared to vanilla. Having dogs myself, I noticed that birds tend to avoid dogs as much as possible, and they run/fly away if they are approached by them. So I think it would be a small addition if birds mostly avoided dogs, maybe in a 10 block radius. However, if the player has something the bird wants to steal like food about 1/4th of the time if you have a dog near you they would try to steal whatever is in the player’s hand. Dogs should also chase whatever birds they can see, and perhaps if they can’t reach the bird they will bark at it until it is out of sight. If a bird is approached by the dog it will fly away.

3. Lanterns. In the new Vanilla minecraft there are lanterns for both the normal torch and the soul torch. I think this mod should add lantern versions for all the mod torches. Their main function would be aesthetic. Sometimes chandeliers just don’t fit when you are building.

4. Make elves faster. This is pretty self explanatory. Personally I think Mevans has tried his best to make a lore-accurate version of the elves, but I still think some more should be added. I’m aware that there have probably been many people who have suggested buffing the elves, but I don’t know of any who have had their features implemented as of yet. The speed increase should be somewhat like what has been done for Berserkers. Civilians would be slightly faster, maybe like a 5-10% increase in speed, the warriors should at least be as fast as Uruk Berserkers, and maybe the Wood Elven scout even more. To counter this I would suggest increasing alignment required to hire them, although cost could be increased too I suppose.

Constructive criticism and suggestions are welcome

With the new additions of speech mechanics and moon- star-watching, could there also be a small thing:

Thrushes(in Erebor only?) and ravens would come around dwarves. Other birds will come around Elves. This doesn't happen too often, but isn't rare. Maybe they would even sit on their shoulders?

P.S. Addition of Thrushes and Ravens will be needed for this. In the elves' case, maybe only seagulls will do it.
