Its an easter egg. Referencing how the Gundabad faction on The Official Server made their treasure piles look bigger by building them up with dirt.

Mevans said he would try fix any incompatibility issues with Optifine, but Optifine isn't likely to be a large priority for him and if it isn't a very easy fix we might not see anything changed. So be hopeful, but not too hopeful ;)

Rest assured that the Mod team will have taken this all into consideration when deciding to update to 1.15.2.

Axes are horribly inaccurate. Swords are still the go-to for PVP in new Minecraft versions.

The LOTR Mod is being updated to 1.15 and this will we have barrier blocks.

Did you consider having one version of the lamp that can be turned off and on? Maybe right clicking a lamp with a match will light it, and then clicking it again with a bucket of water will unlight it? Could give more use to those matches!

I think this is a good way to encourage trade between players (and maybe increase the importance of travelling traders) and it also solves annoying issue of people just growing Mallorn trees wherever they want..
