Reading material
For now the mod only shows us the presence of book in structures, the highest chance of finding some would be in Hobbit holes refering to the study Bilbo Baggins spent a lot of time in. Those books need to become something real and good. I suggest a book system very similar to Skyrim. Middle Earth is filled with things never read/seen in the books and films. So for a start i suggest leather types per appropriate animal. Each faction would have their own type of book crafted in their crafting table with the leather from animals most native to their lands. This suggestion would unfortunatelly make vannilla books useless. Factions get librarians/historians that sell their factions books. Now for the books themselves. Each faction has its own happenings and great tales from the past. Great battles and wars, creation of the races or just simply legends. Books containing them would ofcourse be part of random loot in the appropriate structures or ruins and tombs. Some more known tales would ofcourse be common while some could be legendary telling something only rare people heard. The books would be excellent to tell lore within the mod, add more collectible opsessions to players. Presenting each other their own libraries and would spark trading. Each story should be divided among multiple books like parts and volumes. The very size doesnt matter at all in the end because of the details that could be told. Yet still enough books to start great searches and to create true value. A completelly new entertainment system in the mod. Authors excluded considering that these books were never written. And it would be ridiculous for them all to be unknown. The books would work normally as vannilla in all non mentioned matters.
