"Troll-folk" isn't a wholly accurate translation. Like the Black Speech term Uruk, it applies to a specific sort of troll. "Uruk" is typically translated as Orc, but it really applies only to the larger, stronger soldier-breed created by Sauron in the late Third Age. Similarly, the Olog-hai are Trolls, but are specifically the special sun-resistant breed that appeared at the very end of the Third Age.

There is an edit that should be made to the Ologs' name in the mod, though. I believe the mob is currently called an "Olog-hai," which is the plural form. It's like if the Elf mob was called an "Elves." Should be cut down to just "Olog."

A Dragon would probably be more appropriate. Dwarves have a far stronger connection with them than they do with Balrogs, after all.

Just a small nitpick: I'd cut the reference to Durin's Bane. At this time, nobody has any idea what killed Durin - anyone who'd know that it had power over fire and shadow would be those who were killed by it. Any Dwarves who survived would never have seen it, just fleeing from a nameless terror they wouldn't be able to describe.

I'm also not sure about the Rivendell guard putting his sword to Óri's throat. Everyone else we see trying to enter Rivendell (except the Nazgûl, of course) seem to have been greeted pretty well.

Looks pretty good.

If you think it'd be helpful, "Tark" is the Orcs' word for the Dúnedain. Would fit very well in a text like this.

Far as I can recall, minecarts aren't ever mentioned in the books. According to a quick search, minecarts in real life were first used in the 1500s, a couple centuries ahead of the time period the setting of Middle-earth is most similar too.

That being said, there's far more anachronistic things in Middle-earth, and minecarts fit rather well with Orcs and Dwarves.

Though their portrayal in the Hobbit movies, as well as most other things in them, is of course decidedly non-canonical.

Are you using the 1.15 version? It's heavily WIP. No structures, no NPCs, and still missing quite a few other features.

1.7.10 is the version you'll want to use for the time being.

Probably just Hillmen. The presence of Black Númenóreans in Angmar, especially at the time of the mod, wouldn't make much sense.

"Another question rises from this; will Trolls now be part of the "Northern Orcs" faction? Or will they form some sort of neutral one?"

There was some discussion about this on the Discord a while ago, I believe the consensus was that they'd be added to the Northern Orcs.

"Where do the Moria Orcs fit into this? Are they not "Northern" Orcs?"

Moria will almost certainly be a subfaction of the Northern Orcs.

I don't think they should be removed, since they're needed for the proper spelling of the word, but I'd certainly be up for having words with diacritics come up in normal search results, if that's possible.

In the meantime, I'd suggest searching "rean" when you need Númenórean bricks.

Others (including me) have been reporting the same thing on the discord. Seems to be a glitch. I expect a new version will be released soon to patch it.

The option to spawn directly into Middle-earth hasn't been added to 1.15 yet.

Not sure what's going on with the other thing.

These are a lot of features for one suggestion. Try to keep suggestions related to one subject.

The mod's being updated to 1.15, so it'll contain the new water features from the Aquatic Update.

More boats are planned for the future. 1.15 is already adding new boats for the mod's wood types.

Eagles are a planned feature.

The mod already adds a couple of new survival mechanics. Heat and cold damage in the Harad desert and Forodwaith respectively, for example. Hunger also decreases slower than in vanilla, due to the amount of travelling the mod requires.

I believe Sam's line about Kingsfoil only exists in the movie, so it shouldn't be considered as a canonical reference.

I'd say the skin colour should be changed to match the current Hobbits, and I'm not too sure about the skirt. Other than that, very nice.
