<p>Hello, my name is Balbo, and I have an arab friend.  One thing about the mod that has been bugging us for a long time has been the lack of an important animal to this world: goats. </p><p>Goats have had a long and important impact on the culture of the arabs.  From delicious chevon, to yummy goat cheese and Sunday night fun, goats are simply cute animals which could be found around southron households, or roaming in mountain ranges as mountain goats. </p><p>I am sure that my arab friend would love to <i>*ahem</i>* ride these mountain goats, as well as taking it's milk to make cheese.  But cheese shouldn't just come from the goats.  It could come from cows, and even from sheep! </p><p>It is clear that there would also be a surge in activity from the french if cheese were to be added.  My friend would also be a happier man.  So let's go forth and add goats. </p>

<p>On a LOTR Server I play on, the general way of getting money was mining, however that has changed quite drastically in the past few months. </p><p>It started with the introduction of NPC eggs for purchase in the lobby.  They were quite expensive, so you'd have to work your way up to buying them, however once you got one of them you were pretty much set. </p><p>Soon after, some guy either invented or stole the idea of 'Troll Grinders'.  These produced loads of meat, feathers, bones and more which you could sell for loads of money.  This made everybody far more rich (most people had balances of over 100k), and absolutely screwed the economy.  But now they are banned. </p><p>How should I get my money now? </p>

<p>[Metal music begins playing] </p><p>My suggestion was taken down as it was a :known no-go"!  Alas it is because I didn't do too much research (being a silly hobbit) and never saw that this was made before.  My apologies. </p><p>To help cool down my anger on this highly controversial topic, I was curious.  What has angered you guys the most on any given LOTR server.  Perhaps it will make me feel grateful that my brilliant suggestion being taken down is not the worst that could happen. </p>

<p>This suggestion is not very long. </p><p>I just got really annoyed (for lack of a better word) when I have to chop down a tree, just to receive the fruit on that tree.  I was curious if they could impliment tree leaves being like bushes: you can collect the fruit on them with a right click.  It is super frusterating to have to chop down a tree just to get some fruit, and then further replant it, when you could just pick the fruit off of the tree like in real life.  I was thinking one fruit / leaf, as opposed to bushes where you get plenty of smaller fruits.  You would still have to break the leaves to receive a sapling. </p><p>As for date palm, and banana trees, I'm not too sure. </p><p>Also, I saw that the great eagles were planned to be mobs.  Personally, I think they should be a faction, and you would be able to ride them if you have enough alignment, like the fell beasts of Mordor.  Though flying could be problematic, it would be quite cool. </p><p>But that's not very important.  Tell me what you think!  I just think this would be very helpful to those that own orchards, or brew drinks, make foods, etc. </p>

<p><i>Ah, welcome!  I see that you are a great military strategist, and would love to help me out with my conquest of all of the orcs of Mordor and men of Umbar that pillage my beloved land of Dol Amroth.  Before I go ahead on this noble crusade, I must prepare my legions, for there are many powerful players (with powerful armies) that will try to halt my tracks.</i> </p><p>In all seriousness, though, I was curious what kind of army strategies you guys would tend to use in a battle.  I've got a budget of 10k, and alignment with all elf, factions, as well as Durin's Folk, Rohan and Gondor.  I wanted to strike a base in Umbar, as well as a base in Mordor (and maybe a base in Isengard if I have untis to spare).  The rules on the server are that I would have a fifteen minute period with banner protection and keepIventory disabled on the fortress.  If I am to lose I must pay a fine.  If I am to win, I take the base. </p><p>Are there any units you guys would appoint to do the task?  And any strategies you would generally use?  I was thinking of using the rangers of Ithilien for a first strike and setting off some TNT to get inside the wall, followed by a massive cavalry to overrun the fortress.  However there is an item shop where I can buy redstone, so TNT cannons are also an option.  Keep in mind I only have 15 minutes. </p><p>Thanks! </p>
