I hope the mega structure can provide some actual faction feeling
It can only be captured by pledged players, and the ownership is only with faction and not certain player/fellowship
It can have some banner victory mini game function to it
The single player should have enough contents to be enjoyable (While we have a lot of contents in Vanilla mod, the truth is when you take that apart for a single player's game, there are less contents since the content is spanned across different factions).
The multiplayer would be enjoyable as long as singleplayer really are fun to play
This is for future reference only
I'm fully aware that we are not seeing mega structure in this year and probably next :)

Aye aye :p hopefully Mevans can focus on the not map aspects for now (like NPCs!)
I hope someone with modding experience can tell me :)
If most of the NPC codes are purely created by Mevans, then is it easier to implement them compare with things like world generation?
two years? I would say we might be able to get the NPCs and quests in this year, then it would be playable (by that I mean the basic functions would all be here by then)
It would be perfect if we can get to that point when the cave update is out :)
I don't believe there are NPCs yet, but the faction system is in place now
It means a died trader, who should be respawning after a while

I believe that is already possible with renewed version of this mod
Let me explain this poll: Do you want vanilla minecraft contents to be added (or should I say, integrated) to LOTR to provide more contents?
One example: (not a really good one but it can explain my point)
Do you want vanilla underwater temple show up (the blocks, mobs altogether) in LOTR world?
Another example would be:
Do you want LOTR NPCs able to interact with vanilla mobs? (zombie, phantom etc) so it can be interesting to bring LOTR characters back to vanilla world?

Let's see...
Map wise, we still missing the east and south
NPC wise, none are added just yet (but I believe it would be way easier and a better system if Mevans just implement the villager (trading, work station and maybe village reputation) and illager (raid, scouting party etc) systems
Structure wise, none yet (And since we want to add NPC spawner to structures, it's going to be behind NPC system.
And there are others like achievement, banner protection, fellowship etc we are not sure how much of those code can be reused
I would say it's probably around 20% atm, but fine by me as we already have a complete 1.7.10 version (And after adding all the genstructure buildings it's actually quite nice), and even better if we can get a semi-complete version of this minecraft and port to 1.17 (Caves yay!)
I want to hear what you guys think
I personally feel like the classic mode is better because you never know what to expect and you don't have to go for the tedious long march to reach certain biome
So I really wish the 1.15/6 renewed can focus on the classic mode (aka not focusing too much on the world map until we get all the functionalities to work), but what do you guys think? Do you like the classic mode as well or do you want to see the world map asap?
