I found this in the map files, and I thought it might be mountain textures? It's found in the same place as the normal map and is named terrain.png for anyone interested.
Just realised that if it's about the beautiful background of the wiki, I have no idea how to fix it, maybe log out and in again?
I think you forgot to put the picture in?
You're gonna have to submit the whole crash report for anyone to be able to help you, this only isn't very useful.
I just remembered that for 1.18, Mevans has mentioned LOTR-style cave biomes being added, which leads me to believe that if they are working on a 1.18 port, they're likely planning on adding about one new type of cave per biome, and they probably don't want to delay that over several updates. I also have it on good sources (the wiki moderators) that Moria may be the first major new thing to be added, which may mean that a 1.18 port will also contain them as well!
Don't know what it's supposed to be, but it looks nice and clean!
Does this relate to the mod's path system? Also, do you know if it is location specific? also, since the code is missing two integers, could it be that the 989 and 528 specify the chunk coords and the missing integers (int i, int k) specify the exact coords?
I may or may not know a tad bit of Java, but I don't really get what you're asking or the code, so unless you could clarify I'm of no use here.
There are some mods available on curseforge that allow you to select which mobs get prevented from spawning, but I don't think it exists as a function in the mod.
But after the seventh age then? Is there even lore that far?
Really solid on the fifth age, sixth age also seems good for tying together "old" middle earth with the "new" world. Seventh age? LOL
My best theory is that we are finally getting the Lion King mod. Mevans has probably been hard at work creating all the major structures, the terrain and porting everything from harad to 1.18. I don't see any other reasonable explanation.
Just want to note that the texture has been there for a very long time, so it might not be added in the near future.

Honestly, I want full parity between the versions before any major updates, because you wouldn't want something added and then removed/completely changed due to parity changes. (I'm guessing you mean the mod and not minecraft in general)
Message the user MilkMC, he'll know what to do.
Very nice mod and really detailed models! I'd love to see more of these "semi-addons" or whatever you could call them!
I don't think this is allowed...
I don't know how it could be useful, but since the Palantirs were interconnected, I figure you could use them as in-game "phones" as well!
I just updated to the latest version and checked out the new "secret" Palantir, and I noticed the message you get when you click it:
You ponder the orb for a while, but do not yet know how to make use of it.
Note the "yet" in the message, implying that you will be able to use it at some point! I'm thinking it will probably be linked to alignment (Probably with mordor/high elves). Regarding what it will actually be used for, I don't know. Maybe it will be used for smaller-scale map viewing (Think Journeymap) aas well as interconnecting all palantirs in a world.
