Without a crash report, I can't help much. For starters, make sure you're using the correct versions of the mod, Minecraft, and Forge. If you mix and match, you'll get crashed.
If that checks out fine, check out Common Crashes below. There's a good chance your problem may be one of those listed.
The alignment commands for various factions can be found on the Factions page.
Could be due to a bug within vanilla Minecraft where the block ID's got mixed up. See here for longer explanation.
12:10, July 16, 2020 (UTC)Looks to me like Minecraft is trying to find a particular faction but it can't. Does the game work OK after restarting your computer?
17:47, July 15, 2020 (UTC)In the Twilight Forest, Minotaur attacks can be blocked using a shield, but doing so will knock the shield out of service for several seconds. Something like this could most certainly be added to the mod.
23:28, July 9, 2020 (UTC)Just whatever you do, don't hit the little hammer icon! That will reforge the item and make you lose all your modifiers.
10:44, June 25, 2020 (UTC)The best warrior for you is the strongest warrior unit that's available from your favourite faction.

This is exactly what I meant when I suggested this. Sorry if it was a little wordy and bulky.
Why am I riding the RuneScape train here? Utumno already has some similarities to Daemonheim in RuneScape the way it's implemented in the mod:
Given this, it only would make sense if Utumno were more like Daemonheim, or at least I think so.
23:44, May 25, 2020 (UTC)I usually am pretty conservative with respect to adding my opinions to suggestions here, but I will make an exception here.
I've been playing RuneScape a bit over the past couple of weeks for inspiration for my builds, and I have to agree. Utumno should be a bit like Daemonheim, IMO, where you can't bring anything from the regular world in and have to create your own armour/weapons from resources you find in the dungeon. To that end, it would be good if you spawned into Utumno without your regular inventory, and were given a few random pieces of food/armour/weapons upon entering -- of course, NPC spawn rates in the first floors would have to be kept low, and gradually increased as you went deeper. Each level (ice/obsidian/fire) would have it's own ore, underground trees/logs, food, etc. See the RuneScape Wiki page for more information.
Another annoyance for me: Utumno is WAY too dark. The dungeons of Daemonehim are sufficiently lit that you can see your hands in front of your face.
When leaving the portal and re-entering Middle-Earth, you would lose all the contents of your Utumno inventory, but would receive a random reward in your regular inventory. These could include:
Any other rewards anyone can think of would be nice. Of course, these features likely won't appear in the 1.7.10 version of the mod, but they might appear in the Renewed version once Utumno is added.
11:52, May 20, 2020 (UTC)I see a couple missing chunks. Did you try reloading the world?
22:54, April 25, 2020 (UTC)Mount Doom is already a thing in the mod, by the way. For your other suggestions, please head on over to the FAQ.
12:05, April 3, 2020 (UTC)If ducks do get added, I think they'd either be white domesticated ducks (in regions where farm animals spawn) or wild ducks with mallard-like textures -- maybe black ducks, eider and other textures could be added too.
I'm sure Ithilion can name far more ducks than I can and texture them.
15:07, February 15, 2020 (UTC)Even after the Witch-king left, there would still have been a few Orcs in Angmar, which could certainly have banded together and started a faction of their own.
00:28, February 2, 2020 (UTC)Why don't you talk to them on Discord?
15:04, November 14, 2019 (UTC)Not sure how I missed this, but the description of this sounds great! I've got to try this one out for myself.

Updating the mod with a team would make it way faster. i think a lot of people would help with this. Mahtaran, Valiec, DwarfyAssassin are just a couple of names that would be able to help with this. (if they want offcours)
I hope we could restart this topic!
This mod is the equivalent of Mevans' child. Therefore, it's highly unlikely that he'll let others work on it.
23:29, October 26, 2019 (UTC)Rivendell and all the Orc factions are enemies, so holding positive alignment with both at the same time for any significant length of time is nearly impossible. I believe Rivendell is neutral with Rohan though?
11:47, October 20, 2019 (UTC)Are you playing on a cracked copy of Minecraft? If yes, then that's your problem. You'll have to buy the game. See here for more info.
12:09, October 6, 2019 (UTC)It could be that the latest update broke the mod's compatibility with other mods in the pack. The developer doesn't really prioritise this mod's compatibility with others, and develops it mainly as a standalone mod. Slightly unfortunate, but it means greater freedom on his end.
11:21, October 3, 2019 (UTC)Most of the mods I download other than this one are from CurseForge. There really isn't a problem with putting this mod there IMO.
That doesn't mean you won't get a few reviews of the mod that are factually inaccurate, or not true to the lore, but, in general, they will not likely be the ones that attract the most attention.
