Trying to give my Fangorn player access to a Fangorn Warhorn Shopkeeper, but it only gives the Shire Warhorn and there isn't a number like "damage" for drinks. Any way to make it the Fangorn one?

I lately tried to use the mod with TPs and Shaders but there is the problem that all TPs I tried will just change the menus but the acctual textures stay vanilla.

I also had a problem with the Shaders, but turned out I had the wrong Optifine >.< so nevermind, but anyways... most shaders I tried just have absolutly no effect. They're just not active.

My questions are now:

first of all:

How to install TPs but also Shaders in this mod or bring them to work - is it even possible at all?

Than next question:

which TPs and Shaders are compatible / best to use?

They should be as less demanding as possible - not drain the Performance down much

So I barely know anything about modding but I've had a very very ambitious dream to create a mod with some of the features I love from this mod (ie. factions, alignment (though not necessarily the same system), set biomes and set map, etc.) though encompassing some completely different made up fantasy world with only really humans (this isn't important, just showing I'm trying not to copy this mod as much as possible).

I basically have two questions:

1. How do I learn to code some of that in very simple terms / are there any tutorials which could help me learn this at least in a roundabout way?

2. What is considered copying? I'm not trying to make this like this mod nor like the Lord of the Rings world Tolkien created, just I love the features of this mod. Would using many of the features from this mod be considered copying the mod? And, if not, is it like "morally" okay for me to use some of the features above for a potential mod? Obviously, if this thing ever came into practice, I'd credit this mod for inspiration for the features.

Feel free to tell me I can't do this because of copyright stuff because that itself is useful information.

I also looked at a 5 year old post (https://lotrminecraftmod.fandom.com/f/p/2727758610301255503) which gave me some of the answers I'm looking for.

A big note is: *I don't want to copy the same features as this mod, but instead learn how to code the features so I can make them a way I see fit.*

I've been wondering which version of a mod is better when it comes to features - I read that 1.7.10 is more rich in terms of mechanics etc. but now I'm not entirely sure about that.

Is there any Login mod for 1.7.10? I made a server for lotr mod.. now I need a way to make a login system for players.

Hi, I was wondering how to get back the old style of waypoints, where you don't have to make a platform and a pillar, in renewed. None of the /gamerule commands do it, so I was wondering if it is possible at all. I would also like to know how to do it if it is possible. I like having the option to make custom waypoints in a mineshaft if the need arises, and I'm sure other players on my server would also like to not have to make a structure.

Ok so I was doing some lotr enchantments on my Dol Amroth Leggings on Single Player when I noticed something with both Dol Amroth Leggins and Dol Amroth Chaps I am not sure if this is a mistake or something so I just want to ask. The Enchantment for protection 2 can be applyed to Dol Amroth Chaps but not on Dol Amroth Leggings can someone please explain?

My sword was stolen by a bandit. Now it's said in the description 'belonged to bandit'. Is there a way to delete it? I tried to engrave ownership on an anvil, but now it has both 'belonged to bandit' and 'belongs to the player'.

Mordor invaded a lovely Lamedon village called Evercot, somewhere in Ringlo Vale.

Two days after I was standing victorious enjoying a beautiful warm sunset. A Lamedon hillmen next tome said "the Enemy will continue to send his servants, until we're all done. I fear this is the last dawn for us". I was like " nah whatever, the worst is already over". At that very moment I heard a Mordor warhorn blown in the village's outskirts, just like the wise man predicted

I feel like it's my duty to defend Evercot. Now I'm on my way to Ethring calling for reinforcements.

I figured out how to use commands to get hired ents, hired balrogs, etc.

But the issue I keep running into is that I can summon a hired ent, and right click on them to command them and see their health etc. But the ents will not follow me like any other hired troop.

Do troops that are not intended to be hired (ents, balrogs) not have the AI capability to follow the player that they fight for? Is there a tag to add in the command to make the ents behave like other hired units do?

Also, is there a way to do this with Gandalf? I want a Gandalf that follows me around so that we can have the entire fellowship. Any suggestions? Are Gandalf’s robes an item within the game that I can get with commands? Or are they only a visual for his skin (I am guessing this).

I found some interesting stuff in the factions guide. Angmar is now friends with Dunland. Dunlendings and Rhudaur Hill-men are of the same origin. Considering that Gundabad was renamed into Northern Orcs, one can speculate, tha orcs in the North will be united under one faction. On the other hand, remnants of Angmar will be purely mannish now.

Hill-man country is lore-friendly, because it's stated, that after the fall of Angmar, there were no orcs left west of the Misties.

Also the mod team suggested to remove Angmar orcs a few years ago. Perhaps, they've finally decided to execute it in Renewed.

Is there a way to recreate a Renewed world in Legacy? Copying seed doesn't work.
