Hi guys,
Its been a few days ago, but I would still like to add the server Rekindled Legacy to the list of the lotr mod servers.
Reactions in that topic are turned off, and I find no other way of adding or asking.
It is a lotr mod server on 1.7.10.
If there are any questions, feel free to ask!
Greetings,
Nodas1995
Hello to you I have a small problem on my server, which has about 10 players. Mobs and NPCs don't spawn often, there are quite a few, especially in newly explored areas. I have several other modes like custom npc. All settings look good. thank you in advance for your help
Hi, i was wondering if there were any new servers lately? Or if anyone was planning on making one soon. Because im interested in playing the mod again, but preferably not on a server that's been open for years. I want that new fresh feeling.
Hello, I have a minor problem. A few days ago, we started creating our own MC server. Unfortunately, we found that when loading new chunks, the server goes through incredible lags. Don't know what to do with it? Any pregen chunk mod or something? Or how did you solve it?
Hello, I'm currently in the works after several years, in reviving my original server "Dagor Dagorath" that my Discord has been demanding for so long for a return.
Learning from past mistakes, I know that the LOTR mod doesn't play nice with mods generally, because it was designed to be a standalone, and there's no problem with this whatsoever. I love the LOTR mod, and I look forward to everything that's provided, and I'll continue to support it's legacy in Minecraft.
That being said, I know many people will still want mods, naturally, but I've made sure that the mods (this does include requirement mods as well) do not exceed past '20' in total.
Now, the problem I'm having which I wanted to get some insight in, was putting plugins in the modpack. I'm trying to implement plugins like WorldEdit, WorldGuard for the obvious purpose of protecting lore builds and allowing staff to do good work easier, but I also need plugins for voting, earning rewards, and just things to make it more RPG immersive.
Nothing too fancy, just little pick-me-ups.
Given your options for 1.7.10 is Cauldron, KCauldron, Thermos, and Sponge (There's also NukkitX for Bedrock Edition and Waterfall (BungeeCord) for proxy connections), I wanted to know how difficult (realistic or unrealistic) it is to have a 1.7.10 LOTR server with mods and plugins installed.
Thank you for all future feedback, constructive criticism and suggestions are always welcome.
Hey i wantet to start a minecraft LOTR mod server with a maximum around 10 people. I was planning it to make it with apax but i have no idea how much RAM i need for that does anyone here have an idea?
Hello
Well, now I have a new computer, and I thought, that using it, I'll be able to create a not laggy LOTR Mod server...
So, Intel i5-10600k, a fast SSD, 16 GB 3200 MHz RAM; and when I launched the server, I tried to join it with my laptop. At first, I actually joined, but got "timed out", and I couldn't play. I restarted server and managed to join, but the server was so laggy, that I couldn't play.
This is my run file: java -server -Xmx4096M -XX:+UseConcMarkSweepGC -XX:+UseParNewGC -XX:+CMSIncrementalPacing -XX:ParallelGCThreads=12 -XX:+AggressiveOpts -jar forge-1.7.10-10.13.4.1614-1.7.10-universal.jar nogui
I have also the XMP option, and I can install Linux (I am using Windows). But besides that, what can I do to make the server not so laggy?
Hello Everyone, I have been super busy and thus not active on the wiki for the last few days but I am back! Anyways I am looking for 10-15 people who would like to play on a smaller private server. Everyone will be able to be a King or Emperor of a Faction (Maybe a Lord if people double up on a faction). Everyone will start in their respective factions biomes and the server will begin. If all goes well it will end up a small LotR mod SMP instead of a massive server. If you are interested let me know right here or on Discord. Camaethor 8522.
Hello all! I was wondering if 10 to 15 people would like to start a server where we create major builds how we think the mod team will make them. For example in Bree they use Bree houses and taverns as the buildings a similar concept could be used in Minas Tirith and Edoras. They would not be MCME level structures but it would definitely add big structures to the mod. If you would like to possibly participate say so in a response to this thread!
Hi there,

Kind regards,

Hey, i enjoy creating servers and stories for people to enjoy, and i was wondering what the current population is like on lotr modded servers these days. Would people play if i made one? Some feedback would be nice, been out of this genre for a while.
Here's a video of the console loading the server and somehow failing to do so. I can't find where the problem is, I've introduced the mod in the file, done everything as I've seen in videos and other forums, but I still can't find the answer to why I can't successfully launch the server, of course, with the forge.jar file, not the minecraft-server.jar, this last one successfully initiates the server, but the mod is not detected in the server, just in my client, that's why I try to craft a Gold Ring in survival, I see it when I place the 8 gold nuggets, but I can't collect it. Server doesn't recognize its ID either, tried to give it by commands. Also have tried deleting the world file and changing the level-type in server.properties to middleearth and see if it works. Nothing has worked. Only vanilla server. So the problem is I cannot initiate the server through that forge file, neither can I with batch files, so please, if someone can see the problem in the video, help me resolve this. Thank you very much.
