Beams are a type of wooden blocks that can be used as pillars or beams, depending on their orientation. Contrary to stone pillars or planks, they cannot be used to craft slabs.

Type of beams
As of Beta 25.2, the following type of wooden beams are available:
- Oak
- Spruce
- Birch
- Jungle
- Acacia
- Dark Oak
- Shire Pine
- Mallorn
- Mirk-oak
- Charred Wood
Crafting
Crafting is done on a regular crafting table. The typical beam crafting recipe is shown here. Beams are crafted in batches of three.
