#This is a modified and mod-adapted version of the Quenta Neuron, the story of how Roccorendil SinzPet became the 2nd High King of the High-Elves in TOS-Lore. # #title:Quentincë Neuron #author:Roccorendil NehtóPia #types:lindon,eriador,woodland_realm,lothlorien,gondor,eregion,dorwinion,rivendell # The great warrior Glaerdir, marched with some of his most trusted elves and a few allied men of Gondor towards the hill where they had received information that a pack of orcs from Mordor were camping out. They met the pack on the outskirts of the camp, as they had seen the elves and men coming. The battle raged on for much longer than anticipated, as these were no normal orcs. These were uruks, highly trained and highly durable. But as victory seemed within reach for the lords of men and elves, something happened that brought a great confusion upon the battlefield. Men and elves and orcs suddenly found themselves intermingled, no one could tell north from south as a great mist engulfed the hill, seemingly creeping upon them from all sides. And it was in the midst this chaos that Lord Glaerdir went mysteriously missing and was nowhere to be found. After ending the battle with the retreat of the orcs, the elves and the men of Gondor searched for what felt like ages. Glaerdir was not found and was presumed dead, lost between mud and blood of fallen friends and foes. The brother of Lord Glaerdir, Tancatur, was stricken with grief by the loss of his beloved brother and instead of taking over as Lord in his brother’s stead, he secluded himself in his home in the forest. And thus the Lordship passed to the 3rd in command after Glaerdir and his brother, Roccorendil NehtóPia, who, with grief still gnawing at his heart, humbly accepted the position. Thus becoming the successor of the great warrior, Lord Glaerdir. # #The title of this book translates roughly as “the diminished tale of the Successor”, as this is a modified version of the Quenta Neuron, the Tale of the Successor. #
