Yes. Please use the latest version for both(TiC: 1.8.8, Mantle:0.3.2b) cause thats the version I test with.

Could you make it so tinkers construct bronze - copper - Tin could act like lotre bronze - copper - Tin. basically You can't make the bronze armor with tinkers construct bronze and the smeltery turns everything into tinkers metals.

you could smelt tin and copper alone in a smeltery and than it´s done and you got the ingots or blocks of tin and copper you can smelt them together on a lotr mod forge and you get the lotr mod bronze.
