Have you noticed that if you grab very hard something, this thing won't fall from your hands? For example, if you grab softly a sword, an enemy might disarm you with a strong blow against your blade.
So I suggest that Mevans adds 10 new buttons (for example, you have to hold these 10 buttons to hold a shield and a sword, otherwise they might fall from your hand) to the mod, one button for every finger we have in our hands. If you press, say, the P button, you move your in-game index finger by a few millimeters, and so on. Meanwhile, buttons / and * controls the strength from your left hand, while + and - controls your right hand. Numbers 7 and 6 control how fast you move the fingers in your left hand, while numbers 5 and 4 controls the fingers in your right hands.
And every time you exchange blows against an enemy or hit a block, the mod will execute a simple calculation, taking into account the material of the weapon, hardiness, inertia, gravity, racial strength, energy transfer, personal muscle strength and how hard you're holding your weapon.
I think that the mod needs more realism, and properly controlling your hand is a very needed feature that I'm sure will please the majority of the player base.
