This one hardly has a function, but it'd be neat for roleplaying. Basic idea is, while reading a book, you can click a bookmark icon somewhere and next time you open the book, it would go right to the page you bookmarked.

I guess that would allow for multiple bookmarks. Maybe it'd be like the waypoints, where you can put several and name them? That'd be interesting.

Maybe color-coded, instead.
This seems sort of unnecessary, most of the books are quite short.
It would be interesting for roleplays; something like, "Hm? What's this? This page seems much more examined than the others... Saruman, what have you been up to...?" or something.

Sorry, didn't think of that. I don't roleplay at all, so sometimes I miss the point of suggestions such as these.
I don't roleplay, either. In fact, I only thought it'd be a cool roleplaying item after I came up with the idea.

Any player can write books with a book and quill, so they can make longer works which will need bookmarks. Plus there are at least a few longer lore texts in existence.
Its a good idea, perhaps while in the book you can place various bookmarks (selecting color from your inventory) then are able to use something like a table of contents to select bookmark. (there would of course be a flip to contents page button, this would save your spot as a temp bookmark until you leave the page. Also, the idea of naming bookmarks to is interesting, and could be cool, though it seems like a pain to have to go to an anvil every time you want to use a bookmark. Just because it just seems like it wouldn't be much more help than different colors I would say no to the naming idea.
