Hello everyone, today I have to bring something up that has been getting in the way of some of my gameplay, and I am not sure if any of you have experiencing the same... but nonetheless I should probably say something.
Poison
Poison... daggers, bottles, barrels, arrows, bolts, all of these things in the mod can be modified with poison, so you can weaken your target... it's a great feature but I really feel that it needs to be changed in some ways.
The other day I took on a few normal gundabad orcs with my true-silver modified mithril armor and sword, after about 5 minutes of trying to get close to their arrow spam I was killed after finally being able to take one out. This was because I was poisoned multiple times during the fight, in just about 5 seconds I went from full health to nearly half a heart in the fight. I really do not think that poison should be this overpowered, I mean sure it does some pretty bad damage because it's poison right? Although I feel like maybe the effects should be something else rather than completely sapping your health disregarding any good armor you may have on you.
Armor
Gondor, Dol Amroth, Mithril, all of this equipment is apart of lore, it has it's different qualities and has many unique designs to it. Yet, when you go to a battle in-game, even if you have Dol-Amroth or Dwarven gear.... you somehow still manage to lose agains to a few Gundabad archers and wargs. Tbh, this isn't iron armor, LOTR equipment is supposed to have it's own unique quaities and be somewhat more protective than your typical Minecraft gear. Arrows shouldn't be able to take out so many of your hearts during a battle, especially plate armor(E.G. Gondor or Dwarven). When I am fighting a battle against orcs when wearing normal Gondorian gear, I should be able to take out 10 units at least without having to constantly refill my hunger bars, drink some brew to maintain my buffs, and have lost 5 hearts within the first 20 seconds.
Ranged Weapons
This one is pretty short, but when you get hit by ranged weapons it should't be knocking you back everytime it hits you, perhaps maybe some slowness or another effect. Although it really shouln't be acting as a forcefield when fighting a bunch of NPCs or a group of players.
