Throwing Weapons are weapons that the player (or NPC's) can throw at foes from a distance. They can always be retrieved after combat, with the exception of plates and termites. Examples of this kind of weapon include Spears, Plates, and Conkers.
Many types of NPC's can also use throwing weapons; for example, Gondor Soldiers and Gundabad Orcs can both throw spears, and Dwarf Axe-Throwers throw axes at their foes.
