Chandeliers are a decorative light-emitting non-solid block with the appearance of four torches suspended from a frame. There are many different types.
Obtaining[]
A chandelier will break instantly and drop itself when broken using anything. The tool will not take any damage when breaking the chandelier.
Chandeliers will also be broken if flowing water runs over its location, or if pushed by a piston.
Natural generation[]
Chandeliers can be crafted or found naturally in structures such as smials, some Elven houses, and Dwarven houses. Some chandeliers can also be found in some orc structures.
Crafting[]

---|---|
In the renewed version only, chandeliers have a different crafting recipe (shown below for an iron chandelier) making use of the candles and iron nuggets present in that version, as well as the respective ingot.
Usage[]
Chandeliers can be placed on the bottom of most solid blocks. Being non-solid, chandeliers have no collision box. Chandeliers give off a light level of 14, and melt snow layers and ice within two blocks (taxicab distance).
Trivia[]
- Some say that in smials with gold or silver chandeliers, under the carpet in the foyer, you can find a chest containing valuable items such as gold ingots, silver coins, silver nuggets, etc.
