Cypress trees are a type of softwood tree that was added in Public Beta 28.
Spawning[]
Cypress trees are found in the fields of Dorwinion, in Pelargir, Ithilien, Dor-en-Ernil, Rhudel and fertile parts of Near Harad.

Appearance[]
These trees somewhat resemble Holly trees, and have a grey bark, and dark leaves. However, the leaves are also arranged in a pointed fashion which is unique to this tree.
Growing large variant[]
To grow a large variant, plant 2x2 saplings in a square, and then either wait for it to grow or use bonemeal.
Uses[]
Like other woods, raw cypress wood can be crafted into cypress wood planks, fences, slabs, and stairs. The crafting recipes for these products are the same as in vanilla Minecraft, except for the recipe of the fence, which is the same as other mod fence recipes. Breaking the leaves also has a chance to drop saplings.
