Data packs are files that contain data used to modify the game. Unlike Resource Packs, which only affect the client, data packs are server-side, and data packs installed on a server/world will apply to any players connecting to it. Data packs can be used to modify advancements, recipes, structures, biomes, and more, with many of the mod's features being customizable via data packs as well. Data packs do not exist in Minecraft 1.7.10, so are only available for the Renewed version of the mod. For more information, see The Minecraft Wiki. The Renewed First Age addon is an addon to the Renewed Lord of the Rings mod. This addon is playable only on 1.16.5, it will be updated to newer versions in tandem with the Lord of the Rings mod. This addon adds the First Age as described by Tolkien as a playable dimension. This includes new factions, items, map, monsters and entities and much more. It also adds the First Age Classic dimension which overrides the map and generates the world file as a regular Minecraft world using First Age biomes. This addon has been in development since January 12th 2021. In the future this addon will also include the Second Age.
