Easterling traders are mannish traders of the Rhúdel faction. Most of them can only be found in their respective market stalls on the marketplaces of towns, but not in the smaller settlements. The only exceptions are the blacksmiths, farmers, and bartenders, which can also be found outside of market stalls in their respective buildings.
Only a few of those stalls spawn in a single town, so you won't be able to find them all in one place. You would most likely need to find multiple settlements if you want to find a specific one. The traders are different from normal Easterlings in the fact that they all have a coin in one hand and a tool of their respective business in the other.
Behaviour[]
The traders stand around in their market stall and wait for customers. They will trade for coins and exchange your money for larger or smaller variants.
They are normally passive NPC's but will attack if provoked (with a bronze, iron or Rhûnic dagger unless stated otherwise).
Trading[]
The Easterling traders will trade with anyone who has positive or neutral Rhúdel alignment. They sell various goods according to their profession and will buy what they need to do their job properly. The traders will only buy or sell a certain amount of items before they will stop trading that type of goods. After this happens, there is a cooldown time before they will trade the item again.
Here is a list of which professions can be found:
Price lists[]
Items sold - Below are tables of values for each item that the player may purchase from the respective trader. Use the tables to find out if your trader is giving you a good deal or not. Each trader will not have every item listed for sale.
Items bought - Below are tables of values for each item that the player can sell to the respective trader. Use these tables to earn more money by only selling when the prices are high. You will not be able to sell every item to every trader as not each trader will want to purchase every item listed below. Note that they only buy undamaged tools.
Speechbank[]
All Easterling traders, except for the bartender, blacksmith and farmer, have the same speechbank. These traders talk about their stall and encourage you to sell and buy from them, provided you have the proper alignment.
Friendly
- Hello, my friend!
- Good day, Person! Do you see anything you like?
- I sell the best wares in all of the East!

- You are no friend to me, my friend!
- Go away, Person. I am not interested!
- The guards would have my head if I made any deals with you!

Easterling Baker[]
Bakers are easily recognizable by their tan apparel and a piece bread in their hand. They can also be found by looking for the brown and orange wool striped market stall. They sell bread and pastries and buy ingredients like wheat, sugar and olives, along with bakery gear like buckets and plates. You need positive or neutral Rhúdel alignment to trade with them. If attacked, they will defend themselves with a rolling pin.

Easterling Blacksmith[]
The blacksmith is one of the few traders that can be found in all three variants of settlements. Like the other mannish blacksmiths in the Mod, these traders wield a rather powerful hammer, which they also use to defend themselves when attacked.
To trade with the blacksmith, your Rhúdel alignment must be at a level of +50 or higher. Blacksmiths of Rhúdel sell Rhûnic armour and equipment, among other things.
They will also buy from you the raw materials needed for their craft, which are mainly metal ingots, as well as sticks and coal. The more valuable the metal is, the more coins you will receive.
Upon trading with a Blacksmith of Rhúdel, the player earns the achievement "The Golden Forge".
They are also capable to reforge your weapons, armour and tools.

- You would do well to carry one of my blades into battle!
- My friend, I can armour you and arm you better than any else in this land.
- Few have mastered the craft of weapons to such a height as I.
- Our lords would be pleased if you arm yourself well!
- Welcome, Person! Is it weapons you will be needing, or armour?
- Ah, Rhûnic steel. Nothing holds an edge like this fine material. Hard as dragon scales, light as a feather!
- Greetings, Person. You are most welcome in my smithy.
- All the young ones are going off to war, Person, and I have been left without my apprentice!
- Any blade of mine will carve a Gondorian in two with a single stroke.

- Welcome to my forge, Person. To prepare for the war, it is burning all day and all night.
- There are many men I must armour - but I think I can sell you something, Person.

- I cannot sell you the craft of my smithy, Person.

- I am sorry, Person. You shall have to seek arms elsewhere.

- I cannot trust that you would bring honour to my forge.
- How would my blades fare in your hands, Person? I cannot trust that you would use them to earn honour.
- I sell my craft only to honourable Men.
- I have never heard of you, warrior from the West. I cannot trust you not to turn my weapons against my own kin.
- Words are words, but actions are something else, so earn my people's respect and I will sell to you.
- We are not so foolish as to trust a stranger like you, Person.
- Do you stand with us, Person, or do you rally to the banner of the White City?
- I have not heard tell of you, Person. I should like to hear your name in the songs of our people before I trade with you.
- You will have to show me that you can be trusted before I offer my wares to you.
- When I hear my kin calling your name, Person, then I will trade with you as you wish.
Hostile
- Away with you!
- You are an enemy of our people!

Easterling Stonemason[]
Stonemasons are easily recognizable by their grey kaftans and a stone block in their hand. They sell mainly all kinds of Rhûnic bricks and other stone blocks. They buy what they need for their business like pickaxes, cooked food, torches and buckets. You need positive or neutral Rhúdel alignment to trade with them. If attacked, they will defend themselves with an iron pickaxe.
