LOTR Survival is one of the most popular, stable and more casual Legacy LOTR Mod servers, complimenting the power of the LOTR Mod with custom mechanics carefully tailored to fit the server perfectly, without taking things too seriously.

Why join LOTR Survival?
If you like a server with reliable uptime, stable performance and new content, you should consider checking out LOTR Survival.
- We invest 940 GBP per annum (over 1,100 USD) on a high-performance dedicated server to ensure a smooth gameplay experience, which lets us run at 20 TPS for the majority of the time.
- As a result we only need one daily automatic restart to refresh server RAM, which is far less frequent than quite a few other LOTR Mod servers.
- The capabilities of this server have been tested many times, with events (mainly conquest sieges or battles) reaching 30-60 players online taking place with minimal server lag.
- Our record for players online at the same time currently sits at 84, achieved during a battle for Dale on 17th January 2021.
- We have always put a big focus on keeping the server up and reducing downtime wherever possible since day one. Thanks to this, server crashes are incredibly rare, and chunk regenerations (where we regenerate land which players don't care about to let players explore a mostly unlooted world again) are both uncommon and quick.
- To prove this, we have only had 5 chunk regenerations since the server opened in 2017, with the longest one only taking 48 hours - a lot quicker than some other LOTR Mod servers!
However, we don't just focus on reliability and stability. An abundance of custom content, coded from scratch just for LOTR Survival, means we operate a server packed full of features which you simply don't see that often on other LOTR Mod servers, without you needing to install any other mods!
