Fine glass is a decorative block used as an alternative to vanilla glass. It is different in that the glass itself is completely clear, with a metal frame surrounding the glass. In general, it has a more medieval feel to it than vanilla glass, and fits in much better within the Lord of the Rings universe. It spawns naturally in the windows of Hobbit structures and Gondor taverns, and the roofs of High Elven Halls.
Fine glass is made by putting four glass in a vanilla crafting table. It can be stained either by using stained vanilla glass to create it, or by surrounding a dye with eight fine glass blocks. It can also be crafted into panes by placing six fine glass blocks horizontally in a crafting table. The result is a beautiful addition to any building.
