When Círdan heard from Aranarth son of Arvedui of the king’s flight to the north, he at once sent a ship to Forochel to seek for him. The ship came there at last after many days, because of contrary winds, and the mariners saw from afar the little fire of drift-wood which the lost men contrived to keep alight. But the winter was long in loosing its grip that year; and though it was then March, the ice was only beginning to break, and lay far out from the shore.

–Appendix A, The Return of the King
Forochel is a cold, Northern region around the Southern shores of the Icebay of Forochel (as well as the south of the cape that separates most of the bay from the Sea) and home to the Lossoth.
It is a largely flat, grassy region with varying patches of snow and a small amount of trees.
The only structure that currently spawns here is the occasional Lossoth crafting monument.
Mobs[]
The only mobs to spawn here currently are (arctic) foxes, polar bears and wolves. Once Middle-earth mobs are added, deer, elk, bears and of course the Lossoth will also spawn here.
Mining[]
Other than the stone and granite boulders and coarse dirt on the surface, Forochel is largely similar to other biomes, except for the presence of packed ice and icicles.
Vegetation[]
There is fairly limited vegetation, with even the grass a greyish-green colour. Only certain types of grass and flower can withstand the cold, these being: clover, thistles, nettles, poppies, dandelions, blue orchids and bluebells. The only trees to grow here are firs, spruces (some of which are dead) and less commonly pines.
