He would be able to trade like a normal bartender but you could also buy keys to locked doors upstairs. These rooms would contain food and a bed. Crafting recipe for locked door Is iron door crafting plus a key made from 2 bronze an 1 gold. The door and key would both get a number and the numbers would have to match up. In creative you could get a skeleton key.
Also more transport like horse and carts for storage and horse and carriages for extra passengers.
Also different boats for different factions hopefully can hold sevarel NPCS at once.
Please sign your MC or wiki username when adding suggestions. Also, if I remember correctly, Mevans said something about not being able to code mounts (or other entities) that hold multiple players, because of the way Minecraft works.
You shouldn't need carts behind your horse, however; if you can't carry all your stuff, get a pouch either from spawn or by killing NPC's.
