Staffs: Not necessarily wizard staffs, but you could us them for fighting and you could right click a block of quagmire with it and a one block tall stick would poke out of it that you could jump on it to get over the quagmire safely, and then once you were over you could right click it again to pull it out. You would craft them with three sticks on a crafting table, and there could be different kinds and qualities from different wood.
Cloaks: Cloaks could be used for keeping away the frost effect in cold biomes and you could spread your cloak on the ground and use it as a bed. Cloaks would look like capes while you were wearing them, which you would do by putting a cloak on like a chestplate. They would be crafted like a chestplate in the crafting table but with wool, so you could have different colors.
Rope: You could make 1 length of rope out of 3 pieces of string in a crafting table, and you could combine three lengths to make a coil of rope. You could right-click a wall and the rest of the rope would fall down below the top piece, which would be where you clicked, until the rope ran out or it hit the ground. Then you could climb up and down the rope like a ladder. If you right clicked the top or bottom once the rope was hanging down it would fall down and you could pick it up again. 1 length of rope would be three blocks tall, and a coil would be nine.
