Proabably the thing that I have been asking for more than anything else is the addition of the Wood-men faction.
What would their alignment be?[]
Friendly: Men of Dale, Wood-Elves, Rangers of the North, maybe Rohan and Gondor?
Hostile: Gundabad Orcs, Uruk-Hai
Neutral: All the other factions
What weapons would they use?[]
Their civilians would fight with axes (probably iron ones) and their warriors would fight with Iron Spears, Swords, Daggers, and Bows. As well, their warriors might wear leather Wood-men armour (of course this would require a seperate crafting table for that faction)
What would be the reward for getting Wood-Men alignment?[]
- Use of Crafting Table
- Ability to hire Wood-Men from a Wood-Men Captain. Regular Woodmen would cost 8 coins and require +100 alignment, Warriors 15 and +150 alignment, and archers +200 alignment and 25 coins.
You mentioned Men of Dale, who would they be?[]
Similar alignment to Wood-men, however equipped with different armour and living in a totally different location. Similar to Wood-men they would feature hireable units, but I am also thinking they should have traders -- maybe sell you red wine?
Where would they live?[]
The Eastern foothills of the Misty Mountains in hilltop forts and houses in the valleys. See this page for suggestions. However they would spawn throughout the Northeastern foothills of the Misty Mountains, day or night.
What kind of loot could you get from their buildings?[]
House:[]
- Cooked meats and fish, bread, potatoes
- Mugs of Ale
- Iron Axe (possibly enchanted)
- Sticks
- Wood logs
Fort:[]
- Same loot as above, with the addition of:
- Iron Dagger
- Iron Spear
- Iron Sword
- Bow
- Random Wood-Men armour
Sticks and wood logs would't be found in the forts. All the above items have a chance to be enchanted.
Would there be women, too?[]
Yes, there should. They would spawn wherever the men spawn, but unlike men they wouldn't be holding an Iron Axe. If something with a negative alignment shows up, they would draw out daggers to dispatch it.
