The glass bottle is an item from Vanilla Minecraft, with a functionality that has been expanded somewhat by the mod.
Unlike in Vanilla, a glass bottle is a vessel that can not only be filled with water, but with any other drink as well. It can also be placed on a solid surface like most other drinking vessels, which is not possible in Vanilla.
In addition, it can be used to obtain a bottle of poison, either by right clicking various venomous animals (Desert/Jungle Scorpions, Mordor Spiders and green Mirkwood Spiders) with one in hand, or by combining it with a wildberry in the crafting grid.
