Gondolinian armour is an armour set that can only be obtained by killing the Hill-troll chieftain, along with the Gondolinian sword. It is a strong armour set and can be repaired with Elven steel. It offers the same amount of protection as Dwarven armour, but with more than double the durability (in fact, it is second only to Mithril in terms of overall durability).
Equipping a full suit of this armour earns the player the achievement, "Of Elder Days".
It was most likely stolen by the Hill-troll chieftain during the Sack of Gondolin in the First Age, as many Trolls, Balrogs, and dragons participated in that battle.
