[The Quendi] were a race high and beautiful, the older Children of the world, and among them the Eldar were as kings, who now are gone: the People of the Great Journey, the People of the Stars. They were tall, fair of skin and grey-eyed, though their locks were dark, save in the golden house of Finarfin; and their voices had more melodies than any mortal voice that now is heard.

The Lord of the Rings, Appendix F

The Lindon Elves are mostly Noldorin and Teleri Elves that did not return to Valinor, who dwell in Lindon (one of the only realms in Middle-earth that Sauron never touched) as of the end of the Third Age. They are more ancient than the Wood-Elves and the Galadhrim, and are the greatest warriors and loremasters in the history of Middle-earth.

Spawning[]

Lindon Elves currently only spawn in the fair land of Lindon. These include normal Elves, as well as warriors. The warriors bear an assortment of weapons and wear armour, while civilians have only bows and daggers to defend themselves with.

There are currently four structures created for the Lindon Elves, the main one being the hall. Within it the player can find several Elves. There is also the smaller house, with its one Elf, and the smithy, containing one smith. From this trader NPC, you can purchase equipment and sell it ores. A tower can also be found, this structure contains a lord along with numerous warriors.

Behaviour[]

Lindon Elves will attack any evil mob or player who has negative alignment with the High Elves faction. They are capable of both a ranged and a melee attack. When not engaged in combat, they will roam their land randomly

Hiring[]

Lindon Elves can be hired from lords in their towers. For this, you will need at least +300 alignment with the High Elves faction; prices start at 60 silver coins, but decrease the higher your alignment is, all the way down to 30. This price can be further halves by pledging to the High Elves.

Advantages Disadvantages
Have both ranged and melee attack Weak melee attacks that have little reach
Good ranged attack strength Considering weakness, rather high alignment requirement
Cheap cost-wise No armour
Immune to poison Their strong bows make arrows pass over the head of most of orcs.
Good against swimming foes, especially trolls when they are swimming
Alert the player of approaching enemies with war cries
High health
Can be hired in Lindon, which is not far from the Shire.
