Hobbit Farms are buildings that spawn in the Shire, and are home to multiple farm animals, a few Hobbit Farmhands and a Hobbit Farmer, with whom you can trade and hire Hobbit Farmhands.
These farms include a wooden 2-story barn with a thatched roof. There are animals, hay bales, and crafting tables on the bottom floor, and a living space for the farmer on the top floor, which has a bed, crafting table, a Hobbit oven, various decorative blocks, and a double chest containing food and various farming supplies.
Outside there is a fenced farm containing a field of crops and a Hobbit Farmhand caring for them. These crops vary for each farm. Some contain the much loved pipeweed, others grow more common crops such as carrots, potatoes and wheat, which are all very beneficial for new players in Middle-Earth.
You can hire Hobbit Farmhands from the Hobbit Farmer which resides inside the structure. This is the second farming unit to be added to the mod, after the addition of Nurn Slaves.
